Northwick Park is set within 35 acres of gorgeous parkland and countryside. Its Grade I listed mansion house and surrounding buildings were converted some 20 years ago and now form a quite unique development of individual and beautiful homes. The estate has a fascinating history and the last private owner before conversion was Captain Spencer Churchill, a cousin of Winston. Each property has its own private garden and there are also delightful communal grounds and gardens for you to browse around or just sit and enjoy, including one very lovely rose garden. Every corner of this immaculate place has a point of interest and is an ideal place for a holiday if you are looking for peace and quiet. Hunter’s Moon is a semi-detached 2 bedroom property offering a view from the 1st floor towards the deer park, the home of a large herd of red deer that roam the many acres close by.
This comfortable and relaxing hideaway is ideal if you are looking for an alternative to the hustle and bustle of some of the busier villages. If you like to go out for a meal or explore the wider area, just a mile or so away is Blockley village where there are 2 pubs and a shop/café; Chipping Campden is 3 miles and Moreton in Marsh is 3½ miles and there you will find a wide variety of restaurants and cafes. The area surrounding Northwick abounds with footpaths and can lead you through beautiful woodland and the most delightful countryside to pretty Cotswold villages, usually with a pub or tea room.
Hunter’s Moon is cosy enough for a couple but will accommodate up to 4 adults. (Note: there is also a sofa bed for extra guests to use for an occasional night.) A charming, small, but secluded garden, makes a relaxing place to sit outside on warmer evenings. Two sets of French doors open into the garden from the living room creating a light and airy feel.
Front door leads into the hall, cloakroom with WC and wash hand basin, utility cupboard with tumble drier; well equipped fitted kitchen/breakfast with table for two; comfortably furnished & spacious living room including two sofas (one is a sofa bed) and dining area with table for up to six. Stairs lead up to a double bedroom, en suite with bath and shower over; 2nd bedroom with two single beds, family bathroom. Outside is a small garden with sitting out area and garden furniture.
